#tip : you can swap the Whole wheat bread with multigrain bread, sour dough bread or gluten free bread (seed bread, almond flour bread, etc.).

#tip : you can swap the cottage cheese with chenna, milk cream, hung curd, shrikhand, feta cheese, paneer or plain tofu

Method :

  • In a food processor, add in the dates and raisins and make a smooth paste.

  • In a pan, add in the ghee - heat it and add in the dry fruit paste and stir it until it thickens a little.

  • Then add in the jamun - mix it well and switch off the gas immediately. Let the mixture cool and divide it into 6 parts.

  • In a bowl, mash the cottage cheese after adding a pinch of salt. Add water if needed. Divide it into 6 parts and keep aside.

  • Now toast the bread slices and place them on a plate.

  • Next on a slice of bread, add a portion of the cottage cheese and spread it evenly. After that add the jamun mix on top. Repeat the process for the other slices as well.
